Carmen’s design process draws from her rich cultural repertoire, having relocated to New York after studying in Spain and growing up in the Dominican Republic. Her silhouettes subtly merge elements from New York’s edgy fast-paced life, Madrid’s sober royal charm, and the carefree ease of the Caribbean lifestyle.

After honing her technical design skills at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Carmen apprenticed at multiple high fashion studios. She has developed an eye for quality of craft and mastered the selection of the best fabrics, while also perfecting garment construction to ensure impeccable finishing.
